Our Origin Story
We were founded in 2006 in Riga, Latvia by Jens von Bahr and Richard Hadida with a single, bold thesis: live dealer games streamed over video could replicate the social energy of a physical casino while remaining accessible to anyone online. Our first games were live roulette and blackjack tables — bare-bones by today's standards, but revolutionary at the time.
By 2010, we had secured landmark deals with major European operators and won our first "Live Casino Supplier of the Year" award from EGR. We haven't lost it since.
Our Global Expansion
Through the 2010s, we expanded our studio network across Europe, establishing facilities in Georgia, Malta, Romania, and beyond. Our technology infrastructure — designed to handle millions of simultaneous connections with zero compromise on video quality — became the backbone of the live casino industry.
In 2020, we went public on Nasdaq Stockholm, and the same year began a series of major acquisitions: NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, and later Nolimit City. These moves transformed us from a live casino specialist into a multi-brand iGaming powerhouse.
In 2021, we officially rebranded to Evolution — dropping "Gaming" to reflect our broader identity.
